DECA District Competition

On Thursday, January 12, 2017, the King Philip DECA chapter attended their annual DECA District Competition held at Stonehill College. The conference held over 500 high school students who participated in both DECA series and written events. The Aware to Care team competed in the written series in the Public Relations category.

We competed against six other teams - two teams from King Philip, one team from Franklin and one team from Oliver Ames. We placed second place out of the other five teams and we are now preparing for the States Competition in Boston from March 9 to 11th.

We want to thank everyone who has helped us get this far in our campaign - specifically, we want to thank Megan, Glen and Malia Jusczyk for the amazing partnership we began with you this past July. We would be no where without your guidance and help!
